This is all about you, your life so far and how it might develop into a fulfilling lifestyle. What part do your actions ‘today’: play in your life & lifestyle ‘tomorrow’?

Few of us actually know what we want and when we expect to have it. Just what are these ‘possibilities’ we refer to. There will be highs, moments of joy. lows and perhaps the odd disaster too.

There is always something that happens in life that makes you think: “woh, wait a minute, what just happened there?” It is that ‘wake-up call’ that makes us stop, think about life, your life, its values, pressures, problems, and opportunities.

The shock could come totally out of the blue, being global or so very, very personal. The shockwave is life changing.

Why wait for the shockwave before thinking properly about your life, values, and wellbeing. You can balance the complicated elements that make up your personal wellbeing by talking to us.

Talk about your ‘who’, ‘what’ and ‘why: about certainties and uncertainties; about you. We listen and you will soon discover that even small steps today can make huge differences for the future.

Your financial wellbeing is important too. Money, is a tool to help you realise practical considerations along the way. But that’s all it is – a tool.

Everyone is different. Some live to survive, some to achieve and some live life to enjoy. Some, happily balance all three.

Consider, you are 10 years down the line from now and still dealing with today’s realities. Hopes, aspirations and possibilities – they all seem further away than ever.

This is all too common a scenario.

Careful planning with professional support can create and plot life’s milestones. With the right plan, one dedicated to you and your ambitions, you can start moving, ticking achievements off along the way. Creating those stories; those tales to be told.

Wouldn’t it be nice to look back in 10 years’ time with a sense of pride, a head full of happy memories, and more to come. You can actually enjoy today, knowing you are financially prepared to enjoy your tomorrows too.

Money + Life + Balance

Life is far more than working, saving, paying bills and managing responsibilities – at least it should be.

You can create a positive between Money (the tool) and Life (the experience) – and do so with confidence, leaving concerns, uncertainties and anxieties behind.

The New York Times bestseller by Tom Rath and Jim Harter – “Wellbeing: The Five Essential Elements” – provides a holistic view of what contributes to our wellbeing over a lifetime.

It insightfully begins with a sideways look at the many ‘life changing’ programs available, promising to get richer, lose weight or strengthen relationships, each creating ‘a better you’ independently of the other.

Read on though, and we learn that they are not independent characteristics at all, but integral, all, to the cycle of wellbeing.

Career Wellbeing – Finding satisfaction and enjoyment in the daily activities relating to work / career and daily routines.

Social Wellbeing – having strong relations with friends, partners, love, marriage and life.

Financial Wellbeing – being able to pay for the fun in life and manage your economic life and lifestyle.

Physical Wellbeing – being in good health through exercise, sensible eating, drink and life management.

Community Wellbeing – exercising good deeds for yourself and those around you.

The single biggest threat to our own wellbeing is ourselves.

If we don’t make an effort to do something about it, we allow short-term decisions to override what’s best for our long-term wellbeing.

We know exercise is good news, but missing a gym session or taking a shortcut on a walk, well it won’t hurt – will it? Too much salt and too much sugar are bad news, yes. But one beef burger won’t hurt and that ice cream last week was just a treat – wasn’t it.

As long as we allow short-term desires to win, it will be difficult to effect long-term change, change that builds a solid, happy foundation for good times ahead.

We understand the value of balancing work-life with social and family-life. It is that work/life balance they talk about.

Live well now, enjoy life longer. Eat well now, enjoy a healthier tomorrow. Plan a healthier, happier lifestyle, enjoy a healthier happier future.

Is this YOU ?

Our clients are generally hard-working professional people from a wide variety of backgrounds, with many having been referred to us by existing clients, often their parents, who have already experienced the values of MONEY + LIFE = BALANCED.

(If you recognise yourself in just ONE of these profiles, we should talk – soon.)

Busy professionals who appreciate and work hard for the better things in life, perhaps thinking of the future, though very much living in the day.

Are you starting to wonder – how much is enough? Priorities begin to change as family or other responsibilities take hold. Life is still fun, despite the change in direction and, if you haven’t started planning you now think you really should.

But you are right to wonder, just how much truly is enough?

Will my money last as long as I do? Is there enough to balance life and responsibility? It’s your turn to help your children plan, for university, marriage, their own young families perhaps. Who really knows what might be around the corner, but your planning includes ‘other’ futures now too.

How do I live my best life with the financial resources at my disposal? Perhaps not yet retired but approaching the point where you stop working, exchange a salary for a pension, and enjoy even more lifestyle experiences.

But, does wealth match expectation, does it even cover need?

Decisions for Your Future

There is so much ‘expert advice’ out there – banks, building societies, accountants, webinars, podcasts and some still print papers and journals – imagine that!

You could do it yourself, manage your future. Google “my happy future” and away you go.

There is an awful lot of ‘noise’, within which there’s only a teeny bit of sensible, useful information that truly and practically applies to YOU and YOUR life.

You can learn lots through research, but knowledge does not reflect expertise.

The more you look, the more you will find, until opportunities begin to pile high.

The more options you have the harder it is to choose the right mix for you, until you have too many choices so end up making none, putting the whole thing off ’till tomorrow – again.

Get rid of all those complex, difficult decisions; listen to the encouragement; feel safe, more confident, sure of yourself and your future; be amazed at what you can actually achieve, and what is actually possible. You could even enjoy exploring those possibilities with us – and tell your partner ‘yes I have, I started the ball rolling this morning’

All decisions have emotional components. Make yours good, warm, relieved, happy, positive emotions.

No more fears about your tomorrows, start enjoying and living them fully – today.
